The trail follows the Little Zigzag River upstream to the trails end at Little Zigzag Falls. It affords visitors a cool and pleasant hike on a hot day. A nice hike to take children on but supervision along the riverside a must.
A gentle uphill trail located in a narrow canyon next to the Little Zigzag River.
Take U.S. 26 to 4.3 mi. east of Rhododendron and turn northwards onto Rd. 2639 (Kiwanis Camp Road). Continue to the end of this road (2.2 mi.) and a large parking area. The trailhead is at the north end of the parking area.
